Once a month, from 6.00 - 7.45pm on a Monday (registration is at 5.45pm), we hold an Intake Night for young athletes ages 8 to 15 who may be interested in joining Notts AC. No need to book - just come along to Harvey Hadden stadium (past the main Sports Complex building and up the road to our Registration Box beside the track) on any of the dates shown below:
You'll need to wear suitable casual clothes and trainers, bring a drink (not fizzy) and a fee of £3.50 and be accompanied by a parent/ carer who can sign our Registration & Consent Form. A pack of information is supplied on the night which should answer most of your/ your parents queries and also explain our expectations of you as a member of Notts AC. Following Intake Night, there is a 4 week trial period which allows you time to get the hang of your training group and make friends. Hopefully, at the end of that time you'll feel inspired to join as a full member.
We welcome everyone so you're not required to have reached any particular standard although, with regular training, we guarantee you'll improve!
New athletes ages 8 - 15 also feed into the Club via our two Gedling Satellite Clubs and our Beeston Satellite Club - see 'Training Times' for details.
We sometimes receive enquiries regarding athletics opportunities for younger children but, for insurance reasons, we are unable to accept members younger than 8 years of age at the Club. However, our Satellite Club in Beeston on Monday evenings caters for children from the age of 5 and may be of interest.
See 'Training Times' for details or call wendy Kane on 0115 9254112.
Any potential member aged 16 or over can just come along on either of our main training nights, Tuesday or Thursday, and enquire at the Registration Box situated beside the track.
For new members, fees are payable on a sliding scale each year ending 31st December so, if you join part way through the year, you will pay to the end of December and then pay full annual membership from the following 1st January.
New Membership Fee Structure Guide
You can download a Membership Proposal Form here or pick one up at the Registration Box. Please ensure that you fill in your email address and other details accurately as these will then be transferred to our database. A parent/ carer must sign on behalf of any athlete who is under the age of 16. The form needs to be posted with the correct fee (no cash by post), to our Membership Secretary at the address shown on the bottom of the form or returned to the Registration Box on any training night.

In addition to the annual Membership Fee, track fees are payable for each training session or, if preferred, a Track Pass can be purchased which is valid for either 6 months or a full year. These fees, shown below, help to cover the stadium hire costs.
Annual Membership Fees for current members of Notts AC fall due for renewal on 1st January each year. A letter requesting payment for 2013, accompanied by a Membership Renewal Form, was sent out to every member at the beginning of December 2012. Prompt payment of fees is much appreciated and is also to your benefit.
Membership Renewal Fees Guide
If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please speak in confidence to your Coach or to Charlie Willcox, our Membership Secretary, as soon as possible. It will be assumed that any athlete who has not paid (or made arrangements to pay) due fees by the end of March 2013 has deliberately allowed their Membership of Notts AC to lapse and their details will be removed from our database. Additional Membership Renewal Forms can be downloaded here, in case you have not received/ misplaced the one which was posted out to you in December 2012.
