MENS MIDLANDS LEAGUE
DIVISION 2 - 2008

Despite being relegated in 2007, we are still in Division 2 for 2008. The overall league rankings were calculated for 2007 for both Men and Women. The Men's team position was 19 th out of 37 - the Women's team was 3 rd out of 36 - making our overall ranking 10 th - which places us in Division 2.

There will be 7 divisions in total and 6 teams to each division.

The Division 2 fixtures will be :

Sat 3 rd May at Telford

Sat 7 th Jun at Tipton (Halesowen's match)

Sat 5 th Jul at Charnwood

Sun 3 rd Aug at Birchfield

It will be our turn to host a home fixture in 2009.

It is a very strong Division 2 for next year i.e. Bristol and West (4 th in Div 1 in 2007), Telford (Div 1 runners-up in 2007), Charnwood (4 th in Div 2 in 2007), Birchfield ‘B' team (promoted from Div 4) and Halesowen (Div 2 runners up in 2007).

There will be promotion for the top 2 and relegation for the bottom 2 teams. The points for both Men and Women will be combined.
