Notts AC continues to enjoy success both on the track, in the field, on the road and a cross-country. The Monday Night Induction Group also continues to attract large numbers of athletes.
With all this success our support teams (volunteers) are stretched to the limit.
Do you have some spare time that you would be willing to give up to support the club?
Do you know what help is needed?
Do you have any professional skills that maybe the club can utilise?
Our volunteers are every bit as important as the athletes to keep the club running (excuse the pun).
Listed below are just a few of the areas we need help in. If you think you could help or would like to know more, please contact:
Kathy Warner Tel: 0115 9533273 or email kathy.warner@ntlworld.com
Joy Hourd Tel: 0774 314 2121 or email laurenjhourd@aol.com

Alternatively, just come and speak to one of us.
Canteen - we would like to open the club canteen on the following evenings but require a pool of helpers to work on a rota system to achieve this.
Monday (6.45 - 8.00)
Tuesday (6.30 - 8.00),
Wednesday (6.15 - 7.15)
Thursday (6.30 - 8.00)
Officials - for all our league matches we have to provide teams of graded officials. The more we have the less matches you would have to cover.
For each match we usually need 1 x Timekeeper, 1 x Track Judge, 3 x Field Judge.
If anyone would be interested there are courses held locally to qualify. If you do not want to take a course but feel you could help on the field please let us know.
Do you want to be a volunteer for the 2012 Olympics? For information about volunteering visit www.volunteer2012.com.
Coaching - if you would like to become a qualified coach we can arrange courses for you. If you do not want to become qualified but would just like to be involved in helping one of our club coaches, I am sure that they would be grateful of your help. Please don’t wait to be asked, please offer your services!

If you don’t feel that you have the time at the moment please keep us in mind should your circumstances change.
Our volunteers are never left alone, there is always support and guidance available and where relevant, courses can be found to help. (Financial support can often be obtained for these).
We are also very keen to get younger members involved in the running of the club as they form a large part of it. Their ideas and ethusiasm are what we need to keep the club moving forward. This type of voluntery involvement can often help them with school projects and always looks good on a CV, so don’t be shy, get involved.
